You will lead closures, review statements, and coordinate with auditors, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Strong ERP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA certification required.
• At least four (4) years of solid accounting experience.
• Strong experience in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, BIR compliance, and audit requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

About the Role

Join our team as an Accounting Manager and play a key role in driving accurate financial reporting, sound accounting practices, and effective business decision-making.

We are looking for a finance and accounting professional who can oversee end-to-end accounting activities, ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and translate financial results into meaningful insights for management.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, provide recommendations that support business performance, and contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting

• Oversee end-to-end accounting activities and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Lead or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting activities.
• Review financial statements, account reconciliations, schedules, and significant account movements.
• Analyze financial results and variances, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management.

2. Tax Compliance, Audit & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Review tax-related schedules and coordinate the timely completion of required tax filings and payments.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and facilitate the submission of supporting documents.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and established procedures.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

3. Business Partnering & Management Insights

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial performance, operational challenges, and business requirements.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
• Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and key findings to management.
• Evaluate the financial implications of business activities and recommend practical solutions to address risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, as required.

4. Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting processes, and internal controls.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address accounting and financial concerns.
• Support the implementation of process improvements that promote efficiency, accountability, and reliable financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related accounting field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least four (4) years of solid, relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, BIR compliance, and audit requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial results, identify business issues, and develop practical recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in presenting financial information to management.
• Effective stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
