Job summary

The Back Room Offshoring Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager based in the Philippines to lead cashflow, debtor management, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance for a NZ FMCG distributor. You will work with the MD and leadership to provide clear financial insights and ensure strong controls.

Open to Philippine citizens located in the Philippines; candidate should have strong English communication, Excel skills, and proficiency in Xero or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years in a senior accounting or financial management role.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with solid accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in Xero or similar accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own cashflow planning, debtors and collections, and month-end reporting.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance.
• Provide regular internal and external financial reporting to leadership.
• Maintain strong financial controls and accurate financial position.
• Coordinate with Managing Director and leadership team on insights and risks.
• Support cross-functional teams in financial decision-making.
