Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing overall accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of financial processes. The role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions, and driving process improvements within the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities\
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
• Review and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key financial metrics
• Provide guidance, supervision, and development to the accounting team
• Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and financial planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
• Strong experience in accounting operations and financial reporting
• Experience handling audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
