Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and lead a team in Pasay. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a CPA designation (preferred), at least five years in accounting with two in management, and strong Excel and ERP skills to drive process improvements and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance required.
• CPA designation preferred for seniority and leadership.
• Minimum of five years progressive accounting experience, with at least two in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, internal controls, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations: GL, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports for accuracy and timely submission.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies with strong internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team to improve performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies while maintaining effective internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team, providing guidance to improve performance and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with auditors, government agencies, and other departments to support audits, regulatory requirements, and financial planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, with at least two (2) years in a managerial or people management role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, internal controls, and accounting standards.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
