About the role

ELJIN CORPORATION is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Tarlac, Central Luzon on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our finance function, where you will oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting activities. As Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records whilst supporting the broader financial objectives of the organisation. Key responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management and bank reconciliations
• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Managing the accounting team, including staff supervision, performance evaluation, training and development
• Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and accounting policies to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Conducting variance analysis and preparing financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee benefits administration
• Liaising with external auditors and tax professionals to facilitate audits and tax compliance activities
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing efficiency measures within the accounting function
• Managing the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Supporting budget development and financial forecasting activities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with relevant professional qualifications (such as CPA or equivalent) highly preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in accounting management or senior accounting roles within a manufacturing or corporate environment
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, GAAP compliance and generally accepted accounting principles
• Strong proficiency with accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
• Excellent knowledge of payroll processing, tax compliance and regulatory requirements in the Philippines
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop accounting teams effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Integrity and sound ethical judgment in all financial matters
• Experience with internal audit functions and risk management is advantageous
