Elev8 Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial processes.
You will supervise AR, AP, general ledger, and tax teams while supporting the CFO and Finance Controller in reporting and analysis. You will drive month-end close, policy governance, and workflow improvements, mentor staff, and collaborate with auditors.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting operations of the Company, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial processes. The role supervises and provides direction to the Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax teams. The Accounting Manager ensures that all financial information is complete, timely, and aligned with internal policies and statutory requirements, while providing direct support to the Finance Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
1. Revenue & Billing Accuracy
Oversee timely and accurate AR billing and revenue recognition.
Ensure invoices comply with contractual and accounting standards.
Resolve billing discrepancies and rejected invoices.
2. Receivables & Cash Management
Monitor DSO and aging accounts.
Manage cash advances and settlements.
Coordinate with collections to improve cash inflow.
3. Financial Reporting Integrity
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Minimize adjusting and audit entries through strong internal controls.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
4. Payables Processing Efficiency
Ensure timely billing turnaround to internal and external clients.
Address billing-related concerns and escalations.
Improve first-pass invoice acceptance rate.
Oversee AP processing turnaround time.
Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
Resolve payment and posting issues.
5. Audit Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Manage audit schedules and requirements.
Ensure timely submission of audit deliverables.
6. Documentation & Records Control
Ensure completeness and accuracy of AP, AR, and GL documentation.
Enforce proper filing and record retention standards.
7. Accounting Systems Reliability
Ensure the stability, accuracy, security, and efficiency of all accounting systems to support reliable financial reporting and operational continuity.
Support system migrations, enhancements, and issue resolution.
8. General Ledger Closing and Control
Lead timely monthly GL closing activities.
Review reconciliations and journal entries.
Enforce closing timelines and controls.
9. Technical Capability Development
Identify training needs and support competency development.
Mentor and coach accounting staff.
10. Process Automation & Improvement
Initiate and support automation and process improvement projects.
Drive efficiency and control enhancements within accounting.
11. Policy Development & Governance
Define and approve policy framework aligned with business strategy.
Oversee policy development, review, and standardization.
Approve and enforce policy implementation across functions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Drive policy improvements and governance initiatives.
Ensure consistency and alignment of policies across departments.
12. Performance Management
Define and approve KPIs aligned with business objectives.
Oversee and validate team performance results.
Approve performance ratings and evaluations.
13. Corporate Standards & Administration
Skills Development Accountability: Review personal performance results and identify areas for skill improvement. Take ownership of self-development actions to address identified skill gaps. Apply learned skills to daily work and demonstrate improvement in productivity, quality, and safety. Seek guidance or clarification when performance gaps or skill limitations are identified. Ensure proper storage, access, and disposal of data to prevent unauthorized disclosure. Report any suspected or actual data breach or privacy incident without delay. Maintain confidentiality and participate in required data privacy training and compliance activities.

Technical Knowledge
Financial accounting, reporting, and month-end closing processes.
Application of accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS), revenue recognition, and accrual accounting.
General ledger management, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Basic to intermediate taxation knowledge and tax-related accounting entries.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Process improvement, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility. Strong working knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, financial reporting, month-end close, AR, AP, GL, audit coordination, and basic taxation, alongside proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
