Job summary

Virgin Beach Resort Laiya in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the finance function across real estate developments and hospitality operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

You will manage month-end close, tax filings, payroll accounting, budgeting, and audits while collaborating with multiple business units to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is an advantage.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
• Background in hospitality industry (hostel and/or beach resort) welcomed.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and reporting.
• Solid background in BIR taxation and compliance, including eFPS/eBIRForms filing and tax reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Sprout, StoreHub, and Cloudbeds.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, cost control, and audits.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting function across our real estate developments and hospitality operations, and to support our continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Handle month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting to Management
• Monitor sales, inventory, and revenue across real estate projects and hospitality properties using our systems
• Handle BIR compliance, including preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, percentage tax, withholding taxes, income tax), alphalists, and BIR forms such as 2307 and 2316
• Oversee payroll accounting and statutory contributions
• Support budgeting, cost control, and audits
