Job summary

Ly Consultancy Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting activities, manage a financial team, and drive tax efficiency and compliance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and payroll accuracy while strengthening internal controls across departments. The role requires a degree in Accountancy, CPA/CMA certification preference, and at least 5 years of managerial accounting experience, with proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.

2. Analyze financial activities to identify tax-saving opportunities and implement effective strategies to improve tax efficiency.

3. Ensure that all transactions comply with applicable tax laws. Perform regular audits and reviews of subordinates' work to ensure compliance and identify discrepancies.

4. Assist in budgeting sales and expenses for a certain period. Forecast future financial performance based on historical performance and market trends. Compare budget and actual performance and take corrective actions on noted variances.

5. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions before closing of each accounting period.

6. Lead, train, and motivate the accounting team, delegate tasks, and evaluate performance.

7. Check the accuracy of payroll computation, deductions, and salary payments.

8. Continuously improve accounting systems and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy. Strengthen internal controls and work with various departments to identify areas for improvement.

Job Qualifications:
