Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City seeks an experienced Accounting Manager (Tax & ERP) to oversee accounting operations, tax compliance, financial reporting, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate is a CPA with extensive leadership and ERP optimization experience.

This on-site, full-time role requires strong technical accounting skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive process improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

• CPA with extensive leadership, taxation, and ERP experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience; at least 2 in a managerial role.
• Strong background in taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Oversee tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and statutory filings
• Develop tax planning strategies to improve tax efficiency
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies
• Serve as the accounting lead for ERP systems, including system enhancements and process improvements
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to optimize accounting workflows
• Strengthen internal controls and recommend process automation initiatives
• Mentor and develop the accounting team
