Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations, tax compliance, financial reporting, and ERP optimization. You will lead month‑end closes and ensure regulatory accuracy.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with at least five years of progressive accounting experience, including two years in management, and hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• CPA with extensive accounting leadership, taxation, and ERP experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong background in taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall accounting operations including General Ledger, A/P, A/R, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Oversee tax compliance including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and filings.
• Develop tax planning strategies to improve tax efficiency.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Serve as accounting lead for ERP systems with enhancements and process improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to optimize accounting workflows.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process automation.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
