Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the department in quarterly close process in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, which includes reviewing departmental general ledgers, recording quarterly transactional activity, preparing revenue and expense accruals, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow statements, and providing P&L and Cash variance explanations to budget and forecasts.
• Ensure the organization adheres to key financial policies and procedures surrounding contracts, invoice processing, and expense reimbursements.
• Assist the department in preparing support for internal and year-end audit reviews.
• Provide day-to-day operational support (i.e. reviewing and coding invoices).
• Coordinate with key field personnel and process accounts payable for all offsite financial activities.
• Run requested reports for external and internal parties.
• Process payments to the vendors, partners, suppliers, and clients of the company.
• Regularly maintain all QuickBook databases.
• Schedule and execute check vouchers.
• Serve as liaison to accounts receivable for proper routine billings.
• Regularly record cash and credit card transactions and perform bank reconciliation to ensure accounting books are kept up to date.
• Assist in the payroll creation for independent sales agents and office staff.
• Assist in facilitating payroll disbursements, reporting lost cards, and termination of accounts for separated employees.
• Other finance and admin-related projects as requested.
