Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a meticulous bookkeeper to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, data entry, reconciliations, and month-end closings in a hybrid setup. You will communicate with clients for data clarification and collaborate with the manager to prepare financial reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy/Management with 1–3+ years in accounting and proficiency in Excel and Word. Familiarity with QuickBooks or XERO is a plus, and commuting to Mandaluyong City is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Management.
• 1–3+ years work experience in accounting (Taxation, Audit, Payroll, General Accounting).
• Experience in QuickBooks, XERO or any cloud-based accounting system is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must.
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup and can commute to Mandaluyong City.

Responsibilities

• Executes day-to-day bookkeeping data entry, reconciliations and other transactional and compliance tasks.
• Initiates communication with clients for data clarification and initial questions.
• Manages month-end closing of accounts and prepares clients' financial reports with the manager.
• Performs tasks based on client workstreams and SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with established processes and flags issues to seniors or managers.
