Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounting Associate in Pasay to support finance and accounting operations. You will maintain accurate financial records, assist with closing processes, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key duties include ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR processing, and assisting with month-end and year-end closes. This role offers growth opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Good understanding of GAAP or applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts (bank, prepaid, payables, receivables).
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly).
• Help prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management tasks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (auditors).
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Assist with audit preparation, retrieving documents, preparing working papers.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
