Job summary

FPD Asia Property Services, Inc. in Makati is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage the overall accounting at the property and ensure timely monthly financial statements are submitted.

• Responsible for the cost centering of accounts and expenses
• Coordinates with Project Accounting Department and external auditor for monthly reports and preparing financial statements as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Accountancy or equivalent.
• With at least 1 year of experience in General Accounting.
• The position is responsible for the timely submission of monthly financial statements and reports. The individual is also responsible for monitoring daily accounting transactions of the managed property.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regular:

1. Responsible for the over-all operation of the Accounting at the managed property.
2. Checks and analyzes billing invoices, statement of account, aging of accounts, and lapsing schedules
3. Checks petty cash vouchers, bank checks and debit memos
4. Checks official receipts, slips and check payments
5. Responsible for the cost centering of accounts and expenses
6. All other related tasks as required

Occasional:

1. Coordinates with the Project Accounting Department and external auditor for the preparation of the monthly report of Financial Statements as required
2. Prepares various Financial Statements and reports
3. Prepares and checks monthly government requirements as required by the BIR, SSS, etc. and ensures timely payment
4. Reviews existing accounting system and checks the need to set up a new system
5. Prepares various audit schedules and coordinates with the external auditor
