Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in the Philippines is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. You will handle daily bank reconciliations, maintain accruals, and support the month-end close and audits.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 2–3 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems such as Sun Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years accounting experience preferred; exposure to accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (Sun System is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Process daily bank reconciliations and other accounting transactions with general ledger entries as directed.
• Maintain the general accruals schedule for all Club locations and update as invoices are received.
• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations for review and resolve outstanding items.
• Support month-end close by preparing schedules and documentation for review.
• Assist in tax-related documentation and compliance reports (GST, BAS) under supervision.
• Provide data and administrative support for audits and statutory reporting requirements.
