Job summary

GLIFS Construction is seeking an Accounting Assistant in Cavite to support daily financial operations. You will assist in recording transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining organized records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Preferably resident of Cavite.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Familiar with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections and financial docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work in a construction company environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and recording accounting transactions and financial documents.
• Assist in monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and organize billing, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring company transactions.
• Maintain accurate and updated accounting records and files.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding billing, payments, and accounting concerns.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Officer or Management.
