Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate and complete accounting records.
• Prepare and process accounting documents, including invoices, receipts, vouchers, and journal entries.
• Verify the accuracy of financial data and supporting documents before recording transactions.
• Maintain and update accounting files and records in an organized manner.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment of company obligations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payment requests and supporting documentation for approval.
• Monitor customer accounts and record collections received.
• Prepare billing statements and follow up on outstanding receivables as instructed.
• Assist in maintaining accurate customer account records.
• Record cash receipts and disbursements accurately.
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash balances.
• Safeguard financial documents and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Assist in payroll preparation by verifying attendance, overtime, and other payroll-related data.
• Maintain payroll records and employee compensation documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and government regulations.
• Support audits by providing requested documents and records.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting-related concerns.
• Perform filing, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks related to accounting operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager, or Management from time to time.
