Job summary

IKHEA LIGHTINGS, INC. is seeking a Finance Associate to support store finance operations with a focus on reconciliations, billing, cash handling and tax documentation. You will ensure timely recording of transactions and assist internal and external audits.

You will work with store teams to maintain accurate records, monitor collections, and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and ERP systems usage, enabling smooth financial operations in the retail environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of store finance operations, including receivables, payables, billing, and cash handling.
• Financial transaction processes, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• Familiar with internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sales reconciliation, investigate variances and follow up on discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all cash transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue billing invoices and monitor collections for timely payments.
• Process manual store refunds with banks as requested by Exchange and Return department.
• Ensure store invoices and petty cash claims are processed accurately and timely, with proper withholding tax application.
• Support fixed assets management activities, budget tracking and periodic physical inspection.
• Ensure month-end journals (accruals, amortization, inventory adjustments) are recorded timely.
• Provide support for accounting and financial activities including audits.
• Maintain and safeguard accounting records, manage tax documentation and submit sales reports.

Job description

• Process manual store refunds with banks as requested by Exchange and Return department
• Ensure store invoices and petty cash claims are processed accurately and timely, with proper application of applicable withholding taxes.
• Support fixed assets management activities, including budget tracking and periodic physical inspection
• Ensure all month-end journal entries (e.g., accruals, amortization, inventory adjustments) related to store operation are recorded timely
• Provide support for accounting and financial related activities including internal and external audits, as required
• Maintain and safeguard accounting records, manage tax documentation and submit sales reports to tax authorities
• Support the store operations in monitoring and complying with store operating process as well as legal and statutory requirements

Qualification

• You have an understanding of store finance operations, including receivables, payables, billing, and cash handling.
• You are knowledgeable in financial transaction processes, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• You have a basic understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial documentation standards.
• You are familiar with finance systems and tools, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• You understand store operations and how finance functions support overall business activities.
• You are aware of local regulatory requirements and corporate documentation standards.
