Job summary

Ikano is seeking a store finance professional to oversee daily financial operations in a Cebu City store, ensuring accurate cash handling, reconciliations and timely invoicing. The role supports fixed assets, tax documentation and month-end closings while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sales reconciliation, investigate variances and follow up on discrepancies.
• Record cash transactions timely and complete bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue invoices and monitor collections for timely payments.
• Process store refunds with banks as required by Finance and Returns departments.
• Ensure store invoices and petty cash claims are accurate and timely with proper withholding taxes.
• Support fixed assets management activities including budget tracking and inspections.
• Record month-end entries (accruals, amortization, inventory adjustments) timely.
• Support audits and financial activities as required.
• Maintain accounting records, tax documentation and sales reporting to authorities.
• Support store operations to comply with processes and legal requirements.

Job Description

• Perform daily sales reconciliation, investigate variances and perform follow ups on discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all cash transactions and completion of bank reconciliations
• Prepare and issue of billing invoices and monitor collections to ensure timely payments from customers/partners
• Process manual store refunds with banks as requested by Exchange and Return department
• Ensure store invoices and petty cash claims are processed accurately and timely, with proper application of applicable withholding taxes.
• Support fixed assets management activities, including budget tracking and periodic physical inspection
• Ensure all month-end journal entries (e.g., accruals, amortization, inventory adjustments) related to store operation are recorded timely
• Provide support for accounting and financial related activities including internal and external audits, as required
• Maintain and safeguard accounting records, manage tax documentation and submit sales reports to tax authorities
• Support the store operations in monitoring and complying with store operating process as well as legal and statutory requirements

• You are knowledgeable in financial transaction processes, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
