Solaire Resort in the Philippines is seeking a qualified accountant to manage month-end close, prepare financial reports, and ensure accuracy of P&L figures. You will coordinate with other departments and support BIR filings, with a focus on compliance and timely deliverables.

The role requires a BS Accountancy, CPA preferred, 2–3 years of related experience, Audit firm exposure preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Prepare adjusting journal entries during month-end close procedures.
• Prepare timely financial reports and divisional analyses.
• Review and reconcile profit and loss accounts.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Compute tax liabilities and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (e.g., 1601E, 1601F, VAT, Income Tax, Percentage Tax).
• Prepare supporting schedules and attachments for BIR filings.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, PEZA, and SEC statutory requirements.
• Stay updated on BIR issuances and regulations.
• Participate in BIR tax audit procedures (preferred).
• Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide audit schedules and supporting documents during interim and annual audits.

• Highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
  
• Can work effectively with minimal supervision.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
