Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, investigate, and report financial data.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries during month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial reports and divisional analyses.
• Review and reconcile profit and loss accounts.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Compute tax liabilities and prepare BIR returns (e.g., 1601E/F, VAT, Income Tax, Percentage Tax).
• Prepare schedules and attachments for BIR filings.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, PEZA, and SEC requirements.
• Stay updated on BIR issuances and regulations.
• Assist in audited financial statements and liaise with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare adjusting journal entries during month-end accounting close procedures.
• Prepare timely financial reports and divisional analyses.
• Review and reconcile profit and loss accounts.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Compute tax liabilities and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (e.g., 1601E, 1601F, VAT, Income Tax, Percentage Tax).
• Prepare supporting schedules and attachments for BIR filings.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, PEZA, and SEC statutory requirements.
• Stay updated on BIR issuances and regulations.
• Participate in BIR tax audit procedures (preferred).
• Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide audit schedules and supporting documents during interim and annual audits.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy graduate.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with an audit firm is preferred.
