MicroSourcing invites a detail-oriented Accountant to join our hybrid team in Libis, Quezon City, with a night shift schedule and collaboration across U.S. business hours.

You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes for multi-entity operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting. The role requires a degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years in general ledger work, with strong Excel and NetSuite experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years GL accounting, close, reconciliation, or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and audit-ready account reconciliations per U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with an ERP or accounting system (e.g., NetSuite).
• Strong written and spoken English; able to collaborate during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post recurring and nonrecurring journal entries with supporting documentation per U.S. GAAP.
• Reconcile bank, cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid, fixed-asset, accrual, intercompany, and payroll balance-sheet accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close schedules and investigate variances and unusual trends.
• Analyze revenue, expenses across a multi-entity business including SG&A, payroll, and transportation.
• Maintain fixed-asset records, capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset integration.

Your Role

As an Accountant, you will:

• Prepare and post recurring and nonrecurring journal entries with complete, accurate supporting documentation per U.S. GAAP standards.
• Reconcile bank, cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid, fixed-asset, accrual, intercompany, and payroll balance-sheet accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close schedules while investigating period-over-period variances and unusual trends.
• Analyze revenue, disposal, transportation, fuel, labor, facility, vehicle, insurance, and SG&A expenses across a multi-entity business.
• Maintain fixed-asset records, supporting capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and acquired-asset integration.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of general-ledger accounting, close, reconciliation, or financial-reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and preparation of audit-ready account reconciliations per U.S. GAAP standards.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with an ERP or accounting system.
• Strong written and spoken English with ability to collaborate during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• CPA designation or progress toward a Philippine or international accounting credential.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP platform.
• Experience with multi-entity, private-equity-backed, logistics, waste, healthcare services, or multi-site operations.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, system conversions, consolidations, or U.S. GAAP reporting.High attention to detail regarding internal controls, close-task timeliness, and audit-support quality.
