Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accountant (Fixed Term for 6 months) to oversee financial operations, planning, analysis, and reporting for the senior management team. The role is hybrid with day shifts based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, at least 5 years in finance, and a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting. Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is a plus, with generous benefits and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable and accounts receivables.
• Processing and posting of intercompany invoices
• Prepare and post general journals
• Prepare audit schedules for month end closing; Ensure compliance with SOP
• Provide assistance to compile documents for external audit
• Maintain inventory reports and manage related invoices and expenses
• Concur transactions management and integration to BC including supplier invoices and employee expense reimbursements
• Managing corporate credit card transactions and related invoices

Your Role

As a finance executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and financial health of the company. Your primary focus will be on financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making by the senior management team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable (include posting of invoices, checking of staff claims, payment of invoices) and accounts receivables (include posting of sales invoices, posting of receipts)
• Processing and posting of intercompany invoices
• Prepare and post general journals
• Prepare audit schedules for month end closingEnsure compliance with SOP
• Provide assistance to compile documents for external audit

Requirements

Ideally, the candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent Excel & time management skills, and the ability to meet critical deadlines.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• In-depth understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Processing rebates
• Preparing purchase orders
• Preparing invoices
• Maintaining inventory reports
• Managing Concur transactions & integrating to BC, including supplier invoices and employee expense reimbursements
• Managing corporate credit card transactions and related invoices

While many of the responsibilities are transactional in nature, we would prefer a generalist accountant with a good understanding of end-to-end finance processes, as this role requires both accuracy and broader accounting knowledge.
