Midway Colleges Inc. is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our Finance team in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The role covers end-to-end accounting processes, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly closes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, with at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. CPA is a plus but not required. Join a non-profit committed to growth and excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of related accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain financial records and reports.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
