Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of previous experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
Strong desire to learn the Australian Management and Letting Rights (MLR) business model
Review and oversee the Accounts Payable function to ensure all bills are managed and paid properly
Review and oversee the Accounts Receivable function to ensure invoices are correct and accurate, and AR aging is properly managed
Review and assist in the payroll function to deliver fortnight pays to all staff
Daily cash flow report and forecast
Managing the General Ledger, month end procedures and financial analysis
Perform balance sheet reconciliation with proper supporting documents
Compose management reports and conduct KPI analysis
With a deep understanding of the nature of the business, assist in preparing accurate forecasts and annual budget
Lead, manage and train the dedicated Property Accountants on site as well as the Assistant Accountants remotely to achieve the best outcomes
Support other junior members for their professional development and further education
Attend meetings (remote) with the company and finance leadership team to discuss matters that need to be planned or actioned
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Financial Controller and Financial Controller
