Home Credit Philippines seeks an Accountant - Reconciliation to own bank account reconciliations, investigate issues, monitor reconciling items, and drive improvements across the team.

Qualifications

About the job

The Accountant - Reconciliation's role is to reconcile assigned bank accounts, investigate and communicate findings to counterparties for resolution, monitor and resolve reconciling items, participate in company projects, and lead team projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Has in-depth knowledge in own area
• Ownership of assigned bank account reconciliation
• Investigates and communicates issues identified with other departments and disbursement channels
• Monitors and resolves reconciling items
• Effectively collaborate to solve complex reconciling items
• Participate in company projects (those affecting bank accounts or money flows)
• Leads team projects related to reconciliation and process improvements
• Trains/mentors junior team members
• Use best practices & knowledge to recommend & implement effective process improvement, raise ideas for automation of reports

What You Need To Have:

• At least 2-4 years of working experience in accounting role
• Actual experience in balance sheet account reconciliation or bank reconciliation
• Experience in training or coaching team members
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Experience in financial services industry, multinational/international company or shared services company is desirable
• Willing to work in Cubao

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in MS Excel (with actual experience in pivot, vlookup, sumif, etc)
• Strong experience in a dynamic product management role and delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy (MS office especially Excel, PPT, Outlook and Teams)
