Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support end-to-end revolving portfolio during the monthly accounting close and to prepare reports and analysis of the month’s financial results. You will lead financial data analysis, close the revolving portfolio books, prepare regulatory reports to BIR, SEC and BSP, and contribute to planning and forecasting with robust financial models.

The role requires a university degree, at least four years of experience, strong Oracle SQL

Qualifications

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Accounting/Finance.
• At least 4 years of work experience.
• Ability to structure problems and collaborate with different departments.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and Excel (Analytical Functions, Pivots, Macros).
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Be the key data analyst for revolving portfolio reporting and monthly close.
• Prepare and close monthly revolving portfolio books with explanations of the numbers.
• Prepare data for auditors and regulatory reporting to BIR, SEC, BSP.
• Analyze trends in revenue, costs, expenses and receivables.
• Support forecasting and budgeting with financial models.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed.

Job Description:

The role of a Senior Financial Analyst is to provide support end to end revolving portfolio on the monthly accounting closing, and prepare reports and analysis related to the end of month accounting financial results and help in the planning and forecasting.

What You'll Do

• Key person in the financial data support, analysis, and reporting of the growing revolving portfolio (credit cards, pos on card, and virtual limit).
• Prepare and close the monthly accounting books of the revolving portfolio with explanations of the current month numbers.
• Prepare supporting data, documents, and requirements for Auditors (POS loans, Cash loans, Revolving portfolio)
• Prepare regulatory and Ad-hoc reports to HQ,
• Prepare and support compliance reports to external government agencies (BIR, SEC, BSP) on revolving portfolio
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and customer receivables.
• Support the manager in the monthly estimate, pacing, planning and forecasting.
• Independently work with financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Ad-hoc - other analysis and reporting

What You Need To Have

• University degree (preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Accountancy/ Finance)
• At least 4 years of work-related experience.
• Ability to structure problem well and co-operate with different departments
• Technical Skills: Oracle SQL, Excel Analytical Functions, Pivots, Macros. Etc
• Analytical mind, problem solving, well organized and can be trusted to pay attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with peers and more senior level.
• Fluent English spoken and written (our company language)
