Job summary

SINO RESOURCES INC is seeking an experienced Accounts/Finance professional to manage corporate bank accounts, payroll processing, and tax payments for its freight and mining interests. The role focuses on treasury operations, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with Philippine tax rules.

Qualifications

• Skilled in major Philippine bank online banking operations and cross-border remittance.
• Proficient in monthly payroll preparation.
• Experience in shipping, logistics or mining industries preferred.
• Advanced Excel for financial ledgers and payroll templates.
• Strong treasury/finance experience with cash flow understanding.

Responsibilities

About the role

This role involves managing corporate bank accounts, processing payroll and tax payments, handling financial documentation, and supporting treasury operations for a company with freight and mining business interests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all corporate bank accounts including HSBC, RCBC; proficient in local online banking transfer, monitor daily account balance, local peso disbursement, USD cross-border remittance and track incoming collections from freight and mining business

• Compute monthly staff payroll, deduct statutory contributions including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and BIR withholding tax accordingly, execute bulk salary bank transfer and organize pay slips

• Process periodic tax payment to BIR, cover monthly 12% VAT, expanded withholding tax (EWT), issue BIR 2307 withholding certificates for supplier payments; distinguish TWA and non-TWA withholding obligation

• Verify business expense documents, supplier invoices, maintenance payment, rental and administrative reimbursement; keep all official receipts, bank slips and contracts filed properly

• Prepare daily cash position report, record exchange gain or loss for USD-PHP currency conversion

• Cooperate with external auditors, legal counsel for share assignment capital flow documents and MGB mining company registered capital injection formalities

• Handle petty cash management, check issuance and follow up payment schedule of vendors and subcontractors

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any Related Course

• Familiar with Philippine tax system, labor statutory deductions and BIR filing rules

• Skilled in Philippine major bank online banking operation, local peso transfer and cross-border dollar remittance independently

• Proficient in monthly payroll preparation

• Prior working experience in shipping, logistics or mining industry is preferred

• Advanced Excel skill for financial ledger, fund statement and payroll template formulation

• Proven experience in treasury, finance, or a similar financial role

• Strong understanding of cash flow management, financial instruments, and banking operations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• At least 2 years experience
