Job summary

SINO RESOURCES INC is seeking an experienced Accounts/Finance professional to manage corporate bank accounts, payroll processing, and tax payments for its freight and mining interests. The role focuses on treasury operations, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with Philippine tax rules.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with payroll, VAT, withholding taxes, and day-to-day financial operations, and supports external auditors and legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Familiar with Philippine tax system, labor statutory deductions and BIR filing rules.
• Skilled in major Philippine bank online banking operations and cross-border remittance.
• Proficient in monthly payroll preparation.
• Experience in shipping, logistics or mining industries preferred.
• Advanced Excel for financial ledgers and payroll templates.
• Strong treasury/finance experience with cash flow understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate bank accounts and monitor balances; handle USD cross-border remittance.
• Compute monthly payroll and statutory deductions; prepare pay slips.
• Process periodic tax payments to BIR; handle VAT and withholding tax.
• Verify expenses, invoices, receipts; file contracts and receipts.
• Prepare daily cash position report and track exchange gains/losses.
• Coordinate with external auditors and legal counsel for capital flow documents.
• Handle petty cash and payment schedules for vendors and subcontractors.
