Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Loans Operations Specialist to ensure timely and accurate servicing of all loans and trade transactions for IBS customers, coordinating with operating units and BSP regulations.

You will supervise the Account Service Associates, ensure proper booking, and maintain adherence to bank policies. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Business or Finance course.
• At least 5 years of experience in Loans Operations Processing.
• Background in Commercial Loans and/or Trade Transactions Processing is an advantage.
• Solid background in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides servicing of all loans and trade transactions for IBS customers in coordination with Operating units and BSP regulations.
• Supervises Account Service Associates and ensures proper booking of loans and trade transactions per bank policies.
• Ensures proper documentation and secures deviation approvals from proper credit authorities before endorsing processing.
• Assists in handling transaction-related customer complaints and recommends solutions.
• Monitors timely submission of BIR 2306/2307 and ensures no A/Rs or A/Ps or Technical Past Dues.
• Performs other related functions as assigned from time to time.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the timely and accurate servicing of all loans and trade transactions of IBS customers in coordination with the Operating units and in accordance with the Bank's existing policies and BSP regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides servicing of all loans and trade transactions to IBS customers, in coordination with other Operating units and in accordance with the Bank's existing policies and BSP regulations.
• Supervises the Account Service Associate/s (ASA) and ensures timely and proper booking of all loans and trade transactions and adherence to the Bank policies and BSP regulations.
• Ensures proper documentation and checks that any deviation approval for all loans and trade transactions has been obtained by the RM from the proper credit approving authorities prior to endorsing the transaction processing
• Assists in handling of transaction-related customer complaints and recommend solutions
• Monitors and ensures timely submission of BIR 2306 and 2307, that there are zero A/Rs and A/Ps, and no Technical Past Dues
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
