Job summary

Metrobank in the Philippines is seeking an Account Service Associate to support loan and trade servicing for IBS customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with BSP regulations.

The role coordinates with Operating units, monitors maturities, prepares transaction media for credit recommendations, and handles document validation and filing while supporting day-to-day unit activities.

Responsibilities

• Liases between the IBS customers and the Bank’s Operating units relative to all loans and trade transactions.
• Monitors maturities and follow up clients on the payment due for all loan and trade transactions and maintains updated record of all outstanding loans / trade and maturities of accounts.
• Assists in the preparation of transaction media needed to recommend approval of proposed credits.
• Ascertains the authenticity and completeness of documents submitted.
• Reconciles billing from telephone companies. Monitors all outgoing facsimile messages of the unit and facilitates the reimbursement claims/expenses.
• Monitors and ensures timely submission of BIR 2306 and 2307, that there are zero A/Rs and A/Ps, and no Technical Past Dues
• Dispatches outgoing transaction-related letters, documents and requests and files, safekeeps, and maintains folders of the accounts being handled.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Position Title: Account Service Associate

Job Summary

• Assists in meeting the bank’s objective in terms of efficiency in servicing of all loan and trade transactions of IBS customers in coordination with the Operating units and in accordance with the Bank’s existing policies and BSP regulations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Liases between the IBS customers and the Bank’s Operating units relative to all loans and trade transactions.
• Monitors maturities and follow up clients on the payment due for all loan and trade transactions and maintains updated record of all outstanding loans / trade and maturities of accounts.
• Assists in the preparation of transaction media needed to recommend approval of proposed credits.
• Ascertains the authenticity and completeness of documents submitted.
• Reconciles billing from telephone companies. Monitors all outgoing facsimile messages of the unit and facilitates the reimbursement claims/expenses (parking fees of messengers and representations for tokens given to clients).
• Monitors and ensures timely submission of BIR 2306 and 2307, that there are zero A/Rs and A/Ps, and no Technical Past Dues
• Dispatches outgoing transaction-related letters, documents and requests and files, safekeeps, and maintains folders of the accounts being handled.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
