Aufgaben

• Prospect new accounts from referrals, telemarketing, cold calls, and other leads.
• Support growth by expanding offerings to existing clients to develop and sustain captive customers.
• Design and implement a coverage work plan to ensure regular account visits.
• Gather customer requirements and prepare proposals for standard product offers.
• Endorse non-standard product inquiries to the Design Development Team for evaluation and costing.
• Coordinate with Finance for credit investigation and documentation.
• Solicit inputs from Legal Counsel for major contracts.
• Prepare proposals with drawings, costings, and bill of materials from concerned departments.
• Negotiate with client and consult Sales Head before proposal submission.
• Occasionally join site visits for pre- and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with Customer Service for SOF preparation and attachments.
• Prepare yearly forecast and budget.
• Monitor project progress and sales development with Customer Service support.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing in the trade.
• Represent the company at client events and anniversaries to maintain relations.
• Assist in collection of overdue accounts.
• Contribute to Objectives, Plans, Forecasts, and Budgets.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work area.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• For new accounts: Does prospecting/developing accounts from various sources: referrals, telemarketing, cold calls, other leads.
• For existing accounts: Aids in business growth by expanding offerings to existing clients/customers in order to develop and sustain captive customers.
• Designs and implements a coverage work plan to ensure that all accounts are visited regularly with the appropriate frequency.
• Gathers customer requirements/inquiries and bid materials, as the case may be, and prepares proposals for standard product offers.
• For non-standard products, endorses inquiries to Design Development Team (DDT) for evaluation and costing and Planning Team for production lead time.
• Coordinates with Finance for credit investigation and other documentation.
• Solicits inputs from Legal Counsel for major contracts.
• Prepares proposal after consolidation of inputs and documents (drawings, costings, bill of materials, etc.) from concerned departments. May seek assistance from the Customer Service Team for documentation requirements.
• Negotiates with client and consults with Sales Head prior to submission of proposal.
• May sometimes join site visits for pre and ongoing projects.
• Coordinates with the Customer Service Team for the preparation of Sales Order Form (SOF) and its requisite attachments/supporting documents.
• Prepares individual yearly forecast and budget.
• Monitors progress of projects and analyzes sales development in assigned accounts with assistance from the Customer Service Team.
• Monitors and reports competitor activities, pricing schemes and other relevant information as gathered from the trade.
• May be asked to represent the company during client special events and projects such as openings and anniversaries, to ensure close customer relation.
• Assists in the collection of overdue accounts.
• Helps in the formulation of Objectives and Plans, Forecasts, and Budgets.
• Helps maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and secure work area.
• May stand in for the Sales Team Leader, when requested, for meetings and other activities.
• Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
