AMA Computer College Inc. in Dasmarinas City, Cavite is seeking a dedicated Librarian to manage library operations, curate collections, and provide access to both physical and digital resources for students, faculty and staff.

You will oversee circulation, cataloguing, research support, and information literacy training, while collaborating with academic departments to ensure resources meet curriculum needs and institutional standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science or related field or equivalent qualification.
• PRC-registered Librarian.
• Proven library/information management experience, preferably academic.
• Proficiency with library management systems and databases.
• Strong cataloguing skills and knowledge of Dewey or LOC classification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse user groups.
• Competency in information literacy instruction and user education.
• Knowledge of print and digital information resources.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with academic information needs and research support practices.
• Experience with digital resource management and emerging library technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee circulation, cataloguing and classification of materials.
• Develop and maintain library collections aligned with academic programs.
• Provide research support and information literacy instruction to students and faculty.
• Administer library systems and databases for accurate records and access.
• Create information literacy training sessions and library orientation programs.
• Manage budgets and procurement of books, journals, and digital resources.
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with academic departments to identify information needs.
• Maintain a welcoming learning environment in the library.
• Monitor and evaluate library services to meet standards and user satisfaction.
• Assist with special projects supporting the college’s mission.
