Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science or related degree.
• Must be a licensed and registered Librarian.
• Knowledgeable in library management systems and digital tools.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and has good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports School's Information Resource Center, responsible for collection development, information literacy instruction, and resource management to serve students and teachers.
• Selects and recommends periodicals and books for acquisition to supplement the school's curriculum needs.
• Renders reference and bibliographic assistance to teachers and students.
• Plans and conducts instruction on information literacy skills for students.
• Organizes, catalogs, and maintains library materials and resources.
• Ensures that the Learning Resource Center is organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
• Assists students and teachers in locating and using print and digital resources.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the management pertinent to the smooth operation of the LRC
