Job summary

Asia Peopleworks Inc. is seeking a Logistics Forklift Operator in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The role focuses on daily vehicle checks, safe delivery, and strict adherence to safety standards while coordinating with foreman and drivers.

You will monitor cargo, enforce truck capacity and pallet handling rules, and back-up duties as needed. Some flexibility in schedule is required, with attention to health checks and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• High-school graduate required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Valid professional driver’s license with restriction codes 1,2,3.
• Knowledgeable in forklift operation (preferred).
• Familiar with government agencies driving regulations and traffic rules.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Daily truck pre-operation checks.
• Communicate delays and issues to foreman by phone/SMS.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Periodically check cargo during transport for safe delivery.
• Demonstrate safe driving, observe speed limits and proper signaling.
• Follow all safety rules at customer sites and in warehouses.
• Perform delivery checks before departure and ensure conformity to standards (pallet piling, truck capacity).
• Account for returnable materials and update monitoring sheets.
• Monitor logistics forklift operator and report non-compliance to supervisor.
• Maintain good health condition and perform daily health checks (BP, breathalyzer, temperature).
• Wear PPE and follow safety norms in customer premises and warehouses.
• Serve as back-up/reliever for forklift operator and act as logistics team leader during transit.
• Assist in transferring WIP glass and shuttle service driving.

Duties and Detailed Responsibilities

1.Daily checking of delivery trucks utilizing pre-operation checksheet

2.Maintain consistent and regular communication with foreman and promptly inform Thru phone call or SMS of potential causes for delay such as inclement weather, flat tires and any abnormality they will encounter.

3.Perform regular safety inspections on vehicle to ensure compliance with government and company regulations by utilizing pre-operation check sheet and conduct Short KY.

4.Periodically check cargo during transport to ensure safe delivery and limit risk of unforeseen events.

5.Demonstrate safe and responsible driving at all times including but not limited to observing speed limits, signaling appropriately and getting adequate nightly rest and follow standard in truck maneuvering and reversing.

6.Ensure to follow all safety rules and regulations at customer side and AAPH side.

7.Performs delivery checks before departure and see to it that the delivery is in conformity with the standards:

7.1 Pallet Piling

7.2 Truck Capacity

7.3 Roping and ratchet Standard

7.4 Truck Covering /slider cover

8.Account the return of Steel Pallets and other returnable materials from Customers and records it to Pallet Monitoring Sheet and materials checksheet for its completeness.

9.Monitors the activities of Logistics Forklift Operator and reports to Logistics Section Head for any non-compliance against standards.

10.Ensure good health condition at all times and daily checking and recording of Blood pressure / Breath analyzer (for alcohol intake) and body temperature.

11.Always wear proper PPE and follow safety standards inside customers premises and AAPH warehouses.

12.Work as back-up/reliever of Forklift Operator / helper when the need arises.

13.Act as Logistics Team leader during in-transit.

14.Supports other section in transferring of WIP glass and driver of shuttle service.
