Quest Exploration Drilling (Philippines), Inc. is seeking an experienced driver to join our team in Laguna. You will drive tractor-trailer combinations and low-beds, with preference for candidates having experience with USA trucks and a valid professional driver’s license.

Qualifications

• College education or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience driving tractor/trailer and low-bed.
• Must have experience driving USA trucks (e.g., International Harvester, Freightliners).
• Professional Driver’s License with restriction codes C, CE, & D (or 1, 2, 3, and 8).
• Willingness to work day or night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles before driving to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Ensure equipment used in drilling operations is in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures when transporting dangerous goods.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status per regulations.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for loads and collect payments when required.
• Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with signals as needed.
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, chains, or covers.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Check trailers after unloading for damage and condition.
• Prepare trip reports and liquidate travel cash advances promptly.
• Promote a duty of care mindset; comply with safety, health, environmental requirements.

• Check vehicles before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Ensure that all equipment used in the drilling operation is in good working condition.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures when transporting dangerous goods.
• Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
• Obtain receipts or signatures when loads are delivered and collect payment for services when required.
• Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and that any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, and/or covers.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
• Check the condition of trailers after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage.
• Preparation of the trip report and liquidation of travel cash advances promptly after each trip.
• Strengthening and promoting a “DUTY OF CARE” mindset.
• Complies with all quality, safety, health, and environmental requirements and observes all company policies and procedures;
• Ensure all purchasing-related activities are done in accordance with the Company Rules and Regulations, specifically Rule III – Fraud and Wilful Breach of Trust.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
• With a College Education or Equivalent
• With at least 10 years of experience driving a tractor, trailer combination, and low-bed experience
• Must have experience driving USA trucks, e.g., International Harvester, Freightliners
• Willingness and ability to work on either day or night shifts, as operational needs require.
• Have a Professional Driver’s License with restriction codes: C, CE, & D (or 1, 2, 3, and 8 in the old restriction code)
• Knows how to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
• Must know and understand traffic rules and road signages
• Preferably around San Pedro, Laguna.
