Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced delivery driver to operate company trucks (4-wheeler or 6-wheeler) within Metro Manila. You will transport cargo between warehouses, ports, and customer sites, while performing vehicle inspections and ensuring secure loading of goods.

The role requires at least 2 years of truck driving experience, a valid Philippine driver's license, and readiness to work overtime or on weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company trucks (4-wheeler or 6-wheeler) following traffic laws and policies.
• Transport cargo to and from warehouses, ports, and customer locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded to prevent damage.
• Assist warehouse personnel with loading and unloading shipments when necessary.
• Verify delivery documents and cargo before departure.
• Obtain customer signatures and submit completed delivery documents promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes for on-time deliveries.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Coordinate with Operations and Warehouse teams regarding schedules and shipment status.
• Follow all safety procedures and transportation regulations.

• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.

• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded to prevent damage during transport.

• Assist warehouse personnel with loading and unloading shipments when necessary.

• Verify delivery documents and cargo before departure.

• Obtain customer signatures and submit completed delivery documents promptly.

• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle inspection reports.

• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes while ensuring on-time deliveries.

• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition.

• Coordinate with the Operations and Warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules and shipment status.

• Follow all company safety procedures and government transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• At least a High School graduate (Senior High School or Vocational graduate is an advantage).

• Valid Philippine Professional Driver's License with the appropriate restriction/code for operating 4-wheel or 6-wheel trucks.

• At least 2 years of experience driving delivery or cargo trucks.

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse operations is preferred.

• Familiar with Metro Manila and nearby provincial routes.

• Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Physically fit and willing to assist in loading and unloading cargo.

• Honest, punctual, responsible, and safety-oriented.

• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when operationally required.
