Job summary

Asia Peopleworks Inc. is seeking a Logistics Forklift Operator in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The role focuses on daily vehicle checks, safe delivery, and strict adherence to safety standards while coordinating with foreman and drivers.

You will monitor cargo, enforce truck capacity and pallet handling rules, and back-up duties as needed. Some flexibility in schedule is required, with attention to health checks and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• High-school graduate required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Valid professional driver’s license with restriction codes 1,2,3.
• Knowledgeable in forklift operation (preferred).
• Familiar with government agencies driving regulations and traffic rules.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Daily truck pre-operation checks.
• Communicate delays and issues to foreman by phone/SMS.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Periodically check cargo during transport for safe delivery.
• Demonstrate safe driving, observe speed limits and proper signaling.
• Follow all safety rules at customer sites and in warehouses.
• Perform delivery checks before departure and ensure conformity to standards (pallet piling, truck capacity).
• Account for returnable materials and update monitoring sheets.
• Monitor logistics forklift operator and report non-compliance to supervisor.
• Maintain good health condition and perform daily health checks (BP, breathalyzer, temperature).
• Wear PPE and follow safety norms in customer premises and warehouses.
• Serve as back-up/reliever for forklift operator and act as logistics team leader during transit.
• Assist in transferring WIP glass and shuttle service driving.
