Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a 3rd shift to oversee daily production operations while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. You will manage personnel, enforce procedures, and ensure targets are met, with reporting responsibilities aligned to production schedules and KPIs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Plant Manager and staff departments, maintaining equipment, and guiding operators to meet delivery dates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; three years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and manuals. Practice active listening and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations in production to meet targets.
• Ensure personnel follow work instructions, safety policies, and quality standards.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly production reports and communicate KPI results.
• Coordinate with plant manager and departments on scheduling and machine maintenance.
• Provide guidance to operators; assign work and ensure material/tool readiness.
• Address performance issues and enforce disciplinary procedures when needed.
• Support implementation of new tooling and technology and manage inventory control.
