Job summary

ST Telemedia Globel Data Centre Philippines is seeking a candidate to support and ensure smooth 24x7 operations in the in-country data centre. You will act as Level 1 escalation, understand building systems, document requests, and implement ITIL-based processes to guarantee service quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and involves coordinating with vendors, audits, and reporting, with duties expanding as needed by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field required.

Responsibilities

• Support and ensure smooth 24x7 running of the operations in the 'in-country' data centre.
• Acts as Level 1 escalation point by overseeing and resolving all onsite operational incidents and major issues, responding & performing remote requests within SLA.
• Understands the M&E, security, network and plumbing systems of the building, critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated with the DC environment.
• Documents and updates accurately all requests on the internal web portal ticketing system such as user requests, incidents, provisioning, etc.
• Implements best-in-class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices.
• Delivers ITIL compliance process conformance for incident, problem and change management.
• Ensures effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and provides support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting completed work.
• Plans and supports all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with little to no disruption to the company's services.
• Participates and supports internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Generates accurate and regular reports when required.
• Any other duties or projects as assigned by the management.
