You will follow established procedures and escalate issues when needed while maintaining high accuracy and professionalism. Ideal candidates will have strong written English, a reliable home setup with stable internet, and readiness to complete ID verification and confidentiality agreements.
Location: Philippines (remote)
Pay: $4-6 USD/hour, based on experience
Start: As soon as possible
Job type: Part-time independent contractor, fixed shifts, Monday to Friday. Starts with a paid probation period so we can both check fit.
9:00am to 10:00am
2:00pm to 3:00pm
6:00pm to 7:00pm
In Philippine time that is about 6:30am, 11:30am and 3:30pm (this shifts by an hour in April). The windows are spread across the day, so this suits freelancers or people with a flexible day.
We manage a portfolio of short-term rental properties in Adelaide, South Australia. As our 1st Level Support operator, you are the first point of contact for guests and booking requests on Airbnb. In each shift you work through the guest inbox, reply promptly and professionally, follow our approved procedures, and pass anything outside your level to the next level of support with clear notes.
You will be trained on our properties, systems and procedures. What you do need is to follow instructions accurately and care about getting the details right.
Check and answer guest inquiries, booking requests and guest messages through Hospitable during your shifts.
Choose and send the right approved canned message and follow our procedures accurately.
Screen booking requests against our guest approval guidelines and follow our guest verification steps.
Answer inquiries about property features, amenities, house rules, check-in, check-out, etc.
Spot problems early (access trouble, maintenance issues, upset guests, safety concerns) and elevate them straight away.
Work through actionable messages and follow up on pending items.
Available for all three windows, Monday to Friday, every week.
A reliable personal computer (not a shared household one) and stable internet. If you don't have backup power (UPS or generator), the computer must be a laptop. You also need a backup mobile data device (e.g. phone, tablet or pocket Wi‑Fi) that is always charged and has load ready.
Willing to complete ID verification (valid government ID) and sign a confidentiality agreement before starting.
Careful, by‑the‑book work. You don't want to get things wrong: you read each guest message fully, check the booking details and our references, use the right canned message, and follow the procedure step by step.
Learning from feedback. You learn quickly. Once something is explained or corrected, you apply it from then on.
Problem‑solving and judgement. You know what you can answer yourself and when to elevate. When something is not covered, you think it through, check our references, and bring it to a supervisor with the facts and/or a suggested solution, not just "what do I do?".
Good written English. Enough to understand exactly what each guest is asking, so the right canned message goes out, and to write clear notes and escalations.
Experience with Airbnb hosting, short‑term rental guest messaging, hospitality or customer support.
Experience with Hospitable or a similar property management system.
Comfortable learning new tools quickly.
Experience with Australian short‑term rentals.
Experience working across time zones with a remote team.
Good academic performance.
Remote work with a fixed, predictable schedule.
No screenshot‑tracking software. You just clock in and out on Connecteam so the team knows you're online.
Full training on our properties, systems and procedures.
A supportive team, with room to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
