Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking an experienced Medical Materials Stock Controller to independently manage Operating Theatre (OT) medical consumable stores, ensuring efficient inventory control and timely stock replenishment across clinical departments.

You will monitor expiry dates, coordinate with OT staff and suppliers, and handle ERP transactions while supporting pharmacy requisitions and related store duties. English communication is essential, with a Grade 12 certificate required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate required.
• Relevant qualification will be an advantage.
• At least 2 years of medical materials stock management experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate stock of surgical consumables, implants, and consignment items.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, expiry dates, and slow/non-moving stock; conduct stock counts.
• Coordinate with OT staff, suppliers and clinical departments for daily and urgent requirements.
• Handle SAP/ERP transactions, inventory reconciliation, and patient consumable billing.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of medical consumables.
• Support pharmacy requisitions and other store responsibilities.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

REQUIRED EDUCATION
