Job summary

SIDCO FOODS is seeking a motivated Sales Merchandiser to support retail sales across the UAE. The role requires UAE merchandising experience with understanding of modern trade and cooperatives. You will ensure product visibility, stock, and promotions while building strong relationships with outlets.

The ideal candidate has experience in frozen foods/FMCG retail, good communication skills, and willingness to travel between outlets. Valid UAE driving licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• UAE work experience in sales merchandising or a similar FMCG retail role.
• Experience in frozen food is highly preferred.
• Experience with UAE cooperatives, supermarkets, hypermarkets or modern trade accounts is preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising, shelf management and product availability.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and expiry-date monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, cooperatives and modern trade outlets according to the route plan.
• Ensure SIDCO FOODS products are displayed, well-stocked and positioned correctly.
• Maintain product visibility, shelf presentation, pricing labels, and promotional displays.
• Monitor stock availability, expiry dates, product freshness and storage conditions.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO and rotate products correctly.
• Check stock levels and coordinate with store personnel for replenishment.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions and placements.
• Build relationships with store managers, section supervisors and retail staff.
• Coordinate with sales representatives regarding stock shortages and feedback.
• Ensure frozen products are stored/displayed at required temperatures.

SIDCO FOODS is looking for a motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused Sales Merchandiser to support our retail sales operations across the UAE. The ideal candidate must have previous UAE experience in merchandising, preferably within the frozen food or FMCG industry, with a good understanding of modern trade and cooperative retail channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining product visibility, ensuring proper shelf placement, monitoring stock availability, implementing promotions, and building strong working relationships with retail outlets to maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, cooperatives, and modern trade outlets according to the approved route plan.
• Ensure SIDCO FOODS products are properly displayed, well-stocked, and positioned according to merchandising standards.
• Maintain product visibility, shelf presentation, pricing labels, and promotional displays.
• Monitor stock availability, expiry dates, product freshness, and storage conditions.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures and ensure products are rotated correctly.
• Check stock levels and coordinate with store personnel to arrange replenishment when required.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and product placements.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with store managers, section supervisors, and retail staff.
• Coordinate with sales representatives and supervisors regarding stock shortages, market feedback, and sales opportunities.
• Ensure frozen products are stored and displayed under the required temperature conditions.
• Report damaged, expired, missing, or slow-moving stock to the concerned team.
• Support promotional campaigns, new product launches, and in-store activities.
• Submit daily visit reports, photographs, stock updates, and competitor information as required.
• Ensure all assigned outlets are visited according to the company schedule and merchandising standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Previous UAE work experience in sales merchandising or a similar FMCG retail role.
• Previous experience in the frozen food industry is highly preferred.
• Experience dealing with UAE cooperatives, supermarkets, hypermarkets, or modern trade accounts is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of retail merchandising, shelf management, stock rotation, and product availability.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and expiry-date monitoring.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with store managers and retail staff.
• Basic computer and mobile reporting skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to travel between assigned retail outlets across the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
