A industrial component manufacturing company is seeking a Sr Human Resources Generalist to support HR initiatives for their production facility inthe Quad Cities. Responsibilities include performing duties that support HR policy and goals to promote a “high-performance” culture.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Partner with HR leadership and company management to implement initiatives that support the companies’ long-term objectives
• Establish strong working relationships with supervisors to support as coach in HR related issues
• Perform operational tasks related to employee relations, policy administration, onboarding, training, benefits, reporting & compliance
• Act as primary contact to employees regarding policy, benefits, employee relations and other HR subject matter
• Align department with organizational growth and change through staffing, talent development, organization design, performance management and succession planning
• Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 5 plus years’ experience as an HR Generalist or similar function in a manufacturing environment
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form at all levels of an organization
• Confident and assertive personality that can act decisively in difficult and critical situations
• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
