Job summary

Sinar Mas Land is seeking a Safety Coordinator for Kawasan Mall Mangga Dua in Central Jakarta to support the Head of Building Maintenance & Repair in supervising and maintaining safety equipment, ensuring visitor safety and security.

The role involves implementing daily fire safety maintenance, planning training on safety systems and building facilities, performing daily checks, monitoring safety equipment stock in the food court, preventing hazards, and handling first aid.

Qualifications

• Diploma 3 or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety/HSE Supervisor in a Building Management Unit.
• Experience leading a safety team or managing the safety department within a Building Management Unit.
• Strong understanding of building safety systems and equipment.
• Ensure implementation of health and safety procedures in building operations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Willing to be stationed at Mall Mangga Dua, Central Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Building Maintenance & Repair in supervising, implementing, maintaining, and repairing safety equipment to ensure visitor safety and security.
• Implement a daily maintenance program for fire safety equipment (hydrants, sprinklers, fire detectors, jockey pumps, health and safety facilities).
• Plan and facilitate training on safety systems and the use of building facilities.
• Conduct daily checks of the building's fire equipment.
• Monitor the availability of safety equipment in the food court area (cylinders, gas stoves, faucets, etc.).
• Ensure there are no potential hazards during and after operating hours.
• Handle first aid (P3K) in the area and monitor the availability of necessary medications.
