The City of Mandurah is seeking a motivated Ranger to deliver regulatory services, including animal management, local law enforcement, investigations and community engagement.

The role requires ROCS 1/2 qualifications (or willingness to obtain), a C class licence, 4WD experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This casual position is aligned with the City’s commitment to safe communities and humane practices.

• Completion or working towards ROCS 1 and 2.
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in animal handling and husbandry.
• Sound knowledge of ranger practices, procedures, relevant statutory legislation and local laws.
• Current C class (manual) driver’s licence.
• Experience operating 4WD vehicles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Police clearance certificate (less than 6 months old).
• Senior First Aid.
• Applicants must be aged 18 years or above.

The opportunity

To be successful in this role, you willneed:

• Completion or working towards or willingness to obtain aqualification in Regulatory Officers Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1and 2
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional written and investigative skills
• Experience in animal handling and husbandry skills
• Sound knowledge of ranger practices and procedures,relevant statutory legislation and local laws
• A current unrestricted C class (manual) driver’slicence
• Experience operating 4WD vehicles
• Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Officeproducts
• A police clearance certificate (less than 6 monthsold)
• Senior First Aid
• Applicants must be aged 18 years or above
