Job summary

Balmung Medical is seeking a Quality Manager to ensure product and supplier quality, while driving continuous improvements across QM processes. You will lead inspections, develop strategies, and support supplier development in a hands-on role. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/medical technology (or related field) and strong QA experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, medical technology, plastics engineering, or related field
• Experience in quality assurance and quality management
• Experience in supplier quality, complaint handling, and nonconformance management
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and MDR/IVDR is a plus
• Very good command of German and English
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach
• Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking

As a Quality Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure the quality of products and suppliers and continuously improve our quality processes and methods. You will take a hands-on approach to product quality and supplier development and support the QM department. As the central point of contact in the area of

• Collaborating on product development, supplier selection, and evaluation

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, medical technology, plastics engineering, or a related field; alternatively, technical training with relevant professional experience
• Experience in quality assurance and quality management
• Experience in supplier quality as well as complaint and nonconformance management
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR/IVDR) is a plus
• Very good command of German and English
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking skills
