Turner & Townsend Peru is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to oversee quality assurance across major construction projects. You will develop and enforce project-specific QA plans, lead inspections, and coordinate testing activities with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 10+ years of QA/QC experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering compliant, safe, and on-time handovers.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Establish QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, company quality procedures, and client-specific requirements.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead quality inspections for all construction disciplines
• Verify materials, equipment, and installations conform to approved specifications and design documents.
• Ensure inspection hold points and witness points are properly executed.
• Evaluate subcontractor quality plans and procedures.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
• Conduct vendor audits and quality assessments.
• Ensure all subcontractors comply with project QA/QC requirements.
• Review and approve quality-related documents
• Coordinate pre-functional and functional testing activities.
• Support integrated systems testing (IST) and commissioning teams.
• Ensure all testing documentation is completed and approved.
• Verify systems meet reliability, redundancy, and operational requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
• Participate in client, consultant, and third-party audits.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track and close quality observations and punch list items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 10+ years of QA/QC experience in large-scale construction projects.
• Experience managing quality processes from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
