Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Quantity Surveyor in Lima to prepare cost estimates and budgets for Civil, Structural & Architectural works. You will assist bid reviews and procurement, monitor budgets, and report costs throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 4–7 years in cost management and a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with strong Excel and stakeholder skills for global infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in cost management for CSA works.
• Experience in take-offs, cost estimation, tender management, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for CSA works.
• Assist with tendering, bids review, and procurement activities.
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and produce cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review variations, change orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and teams on cost matters.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to aid decision-making and value engineering.
• Maintain accurate cost records and project documentation.
• Support senior team members across infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Ensure work complies with standards, client requirements, and timelines.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) works.
• Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and management of tendering and procurement activities, including reviewing bids and contractor submissions.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare regular cost reports to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and assess variations, change orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Support contract administration activities and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve commercial and cost-related matters.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to support project decision-making and value engineering initiatives.
• Maintain accurate cost records and project documentation.
• Assist senior team members in delivering cost management services across infrastructure, industrial, factory, and commercial building projects.
• Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial functions for CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) works.
• Experience in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, cost planning, tender management, and procurement activities.
• Good understanding of civil, structural, and architectural construction methodologies and cost drivers across infrastructure, industrial, and commercial building projects.
• Ability to support contract administration, variation management, cost control, and project budgeting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
