OutCode, based in Lima, Peru, is seeking a dedicated QA Manual to design and implement test plans to improve product usability. You will work with developers to debug code, fix defects, and troubleshoot software issues while ensuring high-quality releases.

Formación

• Fluent English level.
• Degree in CS or IS or equivalent.
• 4+ years of QA testing experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, scrum masters, product owners, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking across projects.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-growing company.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a dedicated QA Manual to be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products. The QA Manual works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code.

A successful QA Manual should be hard-working, have a strong working knowledge of software code and testing methodologies, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Understanding customer use cases
• Dive deep into the software development, and developing QA approaches to measure confidence in the product
• Work directly with the development team and QA team to iteratively improve our software development process.
• Write a test plan and test cases without a formal specification.
• Adapt to testing in a development environment with little control over testing data

Qualifications

• Fluent English level
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
• 4+ years of overall QA testing experience
• Ability to function collaboratively within teams of developers, scrum masters, product owners, etc
• Strong organization skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, with a high standard of quality
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to quickly shift priorities and adapt to change
• Working in a fast-growing company.
